HighRoad to Hope is a team of dedicated community members who are business men and women, athletes, teachers and parents. We are people who aim to improve the future of our youth.


We exist to create awareness around these issues and provide funds and programs to empower individuals to achieve a healthy self image.We are trying to create a fitness orientedsociety and we believe sport, nutrition and education all contribute to this goal.

JAMIE MAGUIRE Jamie Maguire is Chairman & CEO of Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a company whose corporate values center around his passion for competition, health & wellness and giving back. He sees childhood obesity and social bullying as epidemics, and believes education is necessary to eradicate them. He's a two-time Hawaii Ironman qualifier/finisher with a PR of 9:54 and has completed many endurance events around the world including Ironman, Leadville 100 MTB & many marathons. He has a B.S. Finance from St. Joseph's University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He is married with 4 daughters and resides in Fort Washington, Pa..

SEAN S. SWEENEY Sean Sweeney is a passionate proponent of fitness and healthy lifestyle. He views the obesity epidemic as a social issue that needs action oriented solutions and he wants to be part of the solution not sit on the sideline.
Sean is a NCAA College Basketball player who has successfully completed hundreds of endurance events from the Leadville 100 Mt Bike race to Ironman Triathlons.
He has an undergraduate degree from University of Mount Union and an MBA from St. Joseph's University.
He is married, father of 3 daughters.

CAROLINE SWEENEY As a registered nurse for the past thirty years, the mother of three teenage daughters and an athlete, Caroline is passionate in exposing our youth to the rewards of living a quality lifestyle by balancing school work with healthy eating and fitness. She is currently pursuing her masters of science degree in nursing as well as working part time as a health nurse in the public school system.

We aim to have a positive impact on social issues such as Childhood Obesity, Social Bullying, Education and Citizens with Disabilities.
